I HATE HAMLET The play opens this week!!Don’t miss it!!Director: Len Wcislo and Asst. Director: Christine Haines have worked hard with a great cast who have been very professional. They learned lines and sword fight choreography with great spirit and enthusiasm. They have sent many postcards and flyers. Come early, we expect a sell-out crowd.Performance times ;7:30—evenings2:00 Sat. MatineeJUNE 16 General Meeting !! Election of officers.8:00—Hackneys Our Board of Directors is set up with 7 members, elected for 2-year terms. Each Summer, the board then organizes itself i.e. elect the President, V. Pres., Treasurer, Sec. To these, the president appoints up to 6 more members in counsel with the elected board members. This year the Board members whose terms are up include: Marie Murray, Lori Nussle, June Ryl-Kuchar, and Marie Whitney. So there are 4 positions to be filled. These members are eligible to run again. The nominating committee is Peg Crawford and Dave Groebe who will present a slate. If you are interested in serving on the board or nominating someone, Call one of them. Nominations can also be made that night. There will also be a short program after the meeting. AILING! LORETTA OBORA fell and injured her arm, foot and knee. She is normally taking tickets or painting sets. We will miss her this play. Hurry back!! CHRIS SARLAS returned from Springfield with another bout of Cellulitis He has made 2 trips to the Hospital. His leg is very inflamed and he is limping. He is worrying about dancing at his daughter’s wedding later this spring. We are all hoping you are back and at ‘em VERY soon! Peg’s Grandson Crowned “Mr. Oak Park-River Forest 2008!!” Pat Koller, a soccer player and member of the school’s dance team beat out 10 other students and 5 rounds of competition to become Mr. OPRF. They competed in pride, swimwear, formal, talent, and interview. Pat break-danced for his talent portion. He is pictured here in his soccer uniform. Ladies Who Lunch!!
